**The Opportunity**

Due to continued growth across the region, an exciting, and newly created, opportunity has arisen for a pricing analyst to join the Asia-Pacific Finance Management team to support:

- Regional support and advice on the pricing of client matters and panel appointments/renewals
- Broader understanding of rates in local markets and compared with competitors to input to pricing
- Development of financial analysis to assist with pricing discussions and analysing outcome versus matter plan
- Develop self-service tools for fee-earners to support pricing arrangements

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Main contact for pricing support in the region. Working alongside BD and Partners to challenge and consider suggested pricing approaches to opportunities and input to client proposals
- Ensuring governance of regional pricing including obtaining appropriate approvals as required
- Assistance with the annual rate review
- Regular reporting on matter profitability and performance
- Ensuring system rates are reflective of those agreed with clients
- Development and promotion of self-serve pricing tools for fee-earners
- Development of better pricing tools for evaluation of KPI's across different types of fee-types
- Regular liaison with the central Pricing Team to understand and align best practices, tools available, market trends etc.
- Other ad hoc project support as required

**Skills and experience**:

- minimum 1-2 years in a similar pricing and/or commercial environment (ideally legal)
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- proven experience of working with varied and cross-functional teams, including bid teams / BD, Finance and Partners
- strong Excel and data skills
- PowerBI and tableau working knowledge would be an advantage
- well organised, strong attention to detail and good planning and time management
- high level of computer literacy, MS Excel modelling capability essential
- good communication stills both written and oral
- analytical and commercial in approach
- strong work ethic with a proactive and positive outlook
- willingness to learn and develop new skills
