Overview
MI Clinical Applications Specialist ANZ atGE HealthCareprovides formal technical and clinical support during the sales process withinAustralia & New Zealand.
Responsibilities include training and/or customer service activities, pre-sale product demonstrations/educational sessions (or clinical trial support), post-installation applications training and support, and ongoing post-sale customer support including on-site clinical in-servicing and go-live support.
Key duties
Providing expertise from product demonstrations, to implementation and ongoing support.
Developing, coordinating and delivering product training to customers and building solid customer relationships.
Becoming a recognized expert in product/clinical technical competencies; answering a wide range of questions concerning software and clinical applications.
Producing well-written post-training reports and providing regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs.
Using market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies.
Improving customer satisfaction and install base retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customers.
Supporting trade shows and professional conferences with educational training.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine
EPA licenses S14, IA 27, IA16 or IA16D or equivalent
Current AHPRA registration
Demonstrated skills in clinical PET/Hybrid CT scanning on current products/platforms
A clear thinker with the ability to interpret and translate complex technical data and systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Exceptional communication and well-developed interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate on the bigger picture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel extensively within the defined region and to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows
Preferred Qualifications
Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
Ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms
Solid interpersonal and communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with external customers, global counterparts and team members)
Strong problem-solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflicts, communicate issues and propose solutions)
Proven business acumen (experience interfacing with internal and external stakeholders as part of a solution-based sales process)
Self-motivated with initiative to identify opportunities for improvement
Team-oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Flexibility/adaptability to changing work environments
Clinical experience in large hospital/university settings preferred
Three or more years of demonstrated clinical scanning skills in the specific modality
Current GE product experience desired
