**The Role**

The Manager, Information Security Architecture would own the tech roadmap to implement the framework. Architecture will prepare means to measure the metrics. The architecture role will work very closely with architecture teams to ensure security design requirements and principles are effectively implemented in projects. This role will be responsible to own and embed security design requirements for projects and BAU activities.
- Structure and socialise cyber technology roadmaps, patterns, and reference architectures from an information security perspective for areas including SDLC, Technology Infrastructure and Cyber Security for internal projects.
- Developing technology blueprints and advising on strategic technology platform options.
- Evaluation and recommendation of security platforms and solutions.
- Collaborating with the key stakeholders such as Digital Modernisation, Business Systems, ICT Infrastructure, Cyber Security and IS Leadership.
- Working closely with the IT and business teams to understand the current and future needs of the organisation.

The key accountabilities of this role include development, socialising, and implementation of information security architecture principles aligning to Enterprise Architecture frameworks including establishing supporting Security Exception Management framework, as well as providing guidance on emerging technologies and architectural patterns to the Cyber Security leadership, projects and solution architecture teams.

**Essentials**
- Relevant qualifications and/or certifications in cyber security management including CISSP, CISM and Security Architecture certifications.
- Significant experience in defining security architecture aligned with IT Service Management.
- Solid understanding of the cyber threat landscape and cyber security framework.

**Desirable Skills**
- Experience in managing and implementing cyber security strategy and architecture in small to medium organisations in a service delivery environment.
- Experience working in project-based work and knowledge of project management principles.
