Each year, the Centre treats around 14,000 patients while delivering clinical and technical training programs for dental students.
As part of the School of Dentistry, OHCWA provides specialist care to eligible patients in partnership with the Department of Health and plays a key role in dental education for future professionals.About the opportunityProvide clinical assistance to dental students and OHCWA clinical staff during patient treatment.Maintain high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the clinic.Provide patient care and conduct administrative duties as required within the clinic.About youCompletion of Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Clinic Assisting or equivalent.Current knowledge of dental assisting procedures and experience in dental assistance within public dental or teaching facilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasksNote: A current first aid certificate and working with children check will be required by the successful applicant.How to applyPlease apply online via the Apply Now button.
