**What you will do**:
As a Certificate III Child Care Educator, you will be responsible for providing quality education and care to all children as well as building relationships with families. Adhering to the _National Quality Standards,_ you will also assist with day-to-day operational tasks, including but not limited to supervision, serving meals, housekeeping, participating in group time and keeping a safe work environment for staff and children.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff
- A good level of physical fitness
- Knowledge of EEO practices, WH&S policies and environmental sustainability principles and procedures
- Maintain a valid paid Working with Children Check through the Office of the Children's Guardian
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Identify and Respond to Children at Risk certificate (desirable)
- Commitment to inclusive practices and child protection
- Understanding of occupational health and safety and the _National Quality Standard_
- Ability to adhere to all Big Fat Smile policies and procedures
