**About the role**
The Forestville Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a purpose-built 60 place preschool on the grounds of our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Primary School. At our Early Learning Centre, we provide a range of learning experiences for children aged between 3 and 5 years.

We are looking for a **Certificate III Child Care Educator** that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring and safe environment. This role is a permanent part time role working in the preschool room during school term from 7:55am to 3:31pm Monday to Thursday and will be on paid leave during the school holidays.

**Classification**: Part time
**Award level**: Above award + Paid School Holidays + Salary packaging + $1,000 sign on bonus
**Days**: Monday to Thursday
**Hours**: 7:55am to 3:31pm

**Ideally you will be able to**
- Have an understanding and experience with the Early years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Assist the Director/ Teacher to plan, implement and evaluate programs
- Ensure a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices
- Helping with observations and experiences
- Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families
- Form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues

**Requirements**:

- A Certificate III Qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance.
- Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
- Knowledge of the Education and Care National regulations and National Quality Framework.
