Our client is a leader in their industry, specializing in solutions across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and residential.
We are seeking a Plumber to join our client's team due to company growth.
The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining products such as filters and water systems, with troubleshooting using service manuals, computerized diagnostics, and technical expertise.
The role:
Perform repairs and installations at customer sites based on daily schedules
Conduct pre-install assessments as needed
Diagnose issues and assess customer needs
Perform workshop repairs and assessments as required, providing information for quotes
Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues promptly and satisfactorily, including providing technical support
Occasionally contact customers regarding unit usage and maintenance
Complete jobs efficiently, follow up, and arrange further appointments if necessary
Handle other ad hoc duties as assigned
Maintain stock levels of service van and spare parts to reduce repeat visits
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies
Identify and maximize sales opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling
What we're looking for:
Trade Qualified Plumber (preferred)
Experience as a Trade Assistant or mechanical aptitude
Experience in installation, repairs, and maintenance in a service role
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently
Exceptional customer service skills
Physical fitness, stamina, and strength
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with computer systems and web technologies
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Self-motivated and proactive
