Overview
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming customers to St George and engaging in conversations to uncover their needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
You will use your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – in person and over the phone – and refer them to our specialised Banking teams when necessary.
This is a rewarding part-time, branch-based role that empowers customers to make the most of their money every day.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers to the branch and engage in meaningful conversations to identify needs.
Provide tailored banking solutions using product knowledge.
Assist customers in achieving their financial goals in person and over the phone.
Refer customers to specialised Banking teams when appropriate.
Support ongoing customer relationships and deliver high-quality service.
What you'll need
Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing or phone-based role with experience of working to targets.
Resilience and the ability to stay calm when managing challenging situations.
Comfortable working toward sales/referral targets and calling customers over the phone.
Numerical capability with proficiency in cash handling and completing financial transactions accurately.
Energetic personality and genuine passion for helping people, with a willingness to learn and adapt to banking procedures and technologies.
Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are highly desirable.
Work arrangement
Part-time, branch-based role based in Hurstville.
Typical hours: Mon, Tue, Wed 8:30am–4:30pm; Fri 8:30am–5:30pm; Sat 9:45am–2:15pm.
