The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a motivated, trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to bring their skills to our workshop team.
Based in the Dandenong branch, this role will see you prepare new Hitachi and Bell products to customer specifications as well as provide quality diagnostics and maintenance services.You will be responsible for:Diagnostic, repairs and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and/or specified times targeting improved job efficiency.Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipmentEnsuring all work carried out is performed in a safe mannerCompletion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reportsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAs the ideal candidate, you will have:Relevant Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle/Truck Mechanics are encouraged to applyEarthmoving equipment experience highly regardedA commitment to safety and strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principlesGood communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work for an OEMAbility to work within a team environmentHeavy Rigid and Forklift licence preferred but not essentialHitachi Benefits - What's in it for you?
