Our Integrated Transport & Mobility team in Perth seeks a Principal Transport Planner to provide consultancy services in the Transport Planning market in Western Australia and across the ANZ region, with a focus on leading the growth of the Perth office.What you'll doLead project delivery and project management for transport planning and assessment projects; provide technical guidance on large strategic consulting and design projects to deliver excellent transport outcomes and consultancy services.Drive business development, identify opportunities, and support the winning of projects; participate in regular industry activities to develop and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to Jacobs' key clients.Support management of the Integrated Transport & Mobility team, including team development, growth, and building technical capability in transport planning.Mentor and develop junior resources, promote knowledge sharing in a team environment, and foster cross-geography relationships to maximise benefits of global delivery.QualificationsEffective communication, commercial awareness, business development skills, and ability to prepare proposals and work with clients.Working knowledge of the local environment and the Western Australian transport sector.Knowledge and application of transport planning concepts and tasks.Understanding of the interfaces between transport planning, traffic engineering, transport modelling, and infrastructure design.Experience in project management of studies, assessments, and other technical activities in a commercial environment.Employment detailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Civil Engineering, Design Services, and IT Services and IT ConsultingAbout JacobsWe are committed to inclusion and belonging, offer flexible working options, and provide a comprehensive range of wellbeing and benefits.
