**Operations Centre Analyst | Brisbane | IT Service Provider/NFP**

The Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated helpdesk support individual who is keen to build their career in IT across multiple platforms and technologies. They are a unique environment with their own NOC and SOC's and were one of the first businesses to offer internet services within Australia (yes really).

You will be a recent graduate looking to break into the world of technology. You could have previous experience as an IT Intern, or maybe you're in a customer service/retail sales role and have a home-lab set up to troubleshoot IT issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Level 1 helpdesk support (logging of IT tickets and basic troubleshooting) **within a NOC environment**:

- Being first POC for vendors, ticket triaging, infrastructure monitoring
- Provide over the phone support for basic network-related issues
- Provide fantastic customer service at all times
- Escalate complex issues to senior staff

**Requirements for the position**:

- **You need to be happy working on a rotating roster that will include overnight, weekends, and public holidays - These night shifts can be done from home.**:

- Enthusiasm to break into the IT industry
- Basic networking knowledge (UDP, TCP, DNS)
- Driven to learn and wants to complete certifications
- Strong communication both written and verbally
- Strong customer service focus

**You must be**:

- An Australian Citizen
- COVID vaccinated (fully)
- Willing to work a rotating roster (24×7 schedule)
Eg. 10pm-6am / 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
