Following private equity acquisition, the business is in growth mode and ready for a CFO who can lead finance, IT, payroll, and inventory/logistics - and partner directly with the CEO to shape the future.The roleAs CFO, you'll lead a high-calibre team spanning finance, systems, payroll, inventory, logistics, and soon, IT.
Reporting to the CEO, you'll have direct Board exposure and the mandate to modernise systems, improve processes, and elevate finance from a transactional function to a true business partner.Key responsibilitiesLead and mentor a multi-functional team including finance, IT, payroll, and inventory/logisticsOversee cash flow, forecasting, and financial governance in a fast-paced retail environmentDrive technology transformation - assess tech stack, identify gaps, and build business cases for changeOptimise team structure for a simpler entity framework (Australia & NZ)Partner with the CEO and Board to shape and execute strategyManage the 3PL warehousingEmbed cost centre ownership and budget discipline across the businessWhy this role is differentTransformation mandate - freedom to restructure, implement systems, and make lasting impactBoard visibility - direct influence with PE stakeholders and industry leadersGrowth agenda - brand is investing in online expansion and operational improvementsHybrid working - one WFH day per week + flexibility as requiredAttractive perks - clothing allowance, parking, device package, potential relocation support, future STI/LTIPAbout youCA/CPA qualified with senior leadership experience in retail (vertical fashion manufacturing highly regarded)Proven in managing cash flow, governance, and change in a complex, fast-moving environmentSkilled in systems and IT strategy, with an interest in technology-driven improvementAble to build trust and influence at Board, CEO, and executive peer levelComfortable leading teams through transition, restructuring, and cultural changeIdeally with private equity exposure, but not essential if retail manufacturing expertise is strongThis is a high-impact role for a CFO who thrives in transformation and wants to leave a tangible legacy.
