LME Care, a leading disability support provider in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader - Supported Independent Living to join our team. With over 25 years of combined experience in the disability sector in Australia, LME Care is committed to delivering high-quality services with purpose, courage, and integrity.
As a Team Leader - Supported Independent Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of our Supported Independent Living services to individuals with disabilities. You will lead a team of Support Workers and be responsible for providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the highest standards of care and support. In collaboration with other team leaders and management, you will contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and strategies.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of Support Workers
- Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities
- Oversee the delivery of Supported Independent Living services to clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
- Ensure the implementation of person-centered support plans
- Monitor and review service delivery to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Participate in the development and implementation of service plans and strategies
- Collaborate with other team leaders and management to improve service outcomes
- Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Attend training and professional development sessions as required
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Disability or a related field
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the disability sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of disability support principles and practices
- Ability to lead and motivate a team and ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Experience in developing and implementing person-centered support plans
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and quality standards
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Understanding of NDIS framework and guidelines
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
