Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Underground Mining Mechanical Designer to join the Mining team based in Brisbane.
- Perform conceptual layout work
- Perform the design and drafting of mechanical plant models using applicable standards, project technical specifications and enterprise or project procedures
- Prepare 3D equipment modelling and 3D design
- Develop engineering design details and special items drawings

You will bring to the role:

- Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred)
- Solid mechanical design and modelling experience
- Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPCM environment
- Ability to take instruction and work unsupervised.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- BMH experience
- Underground experience preferred.
