Job Description:
The Senior Manager of Litigation Services plays a pivotal role in the organization's performance of its statutory functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice on the organization's functions, statutory responsibilities, and service deliverables.
Lead and manage the litigation team effectively to ensure optimal performance.
Prepare, instruct, and appear in legal proceedings, including discipline applications, prosecution of summary offenses, injunction applications, and other enforcement action.
Advise, mentor, and support staff to foster a positive team environment and culture.
Review and develop complex legislative and policy changes to enhance the organization's regulatory functions.
Monitor and improve policies, procedures, work practices, and management systems for effective and efficient service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of legal principles and procedures. Additionally, they should be able to analyze complex information, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
