About the Role
We're looking for an AUSLAN-fluent Support Worker to support participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing, located in one of our Vertical Villages in Marrylands.
You'll play a vital role in helping them:
Build confidence and independence
Access community activities and appointments
Organise and participate in daily routines
Develop life skills like budgeting, cooking, and planning
Communicate effectively and confidently in their preferred language
Navigate services, transport, or local supports
This is a social, empowering role – you're not doing things for people, but with them.

What You'll Need
Fluency in AUSLAN (essential)
Experience in disability, mental health, or community support
Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build trust
NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, Driver's Licence, insured vehicle
Cert III or IV in Disability or Individual Support (preferred but not essential)
