About the Role:As a part-time Youth Worker, you'll provide trauma-informed care and support to children and young people in our Out of Home Care program.
Your role is to help them heal, grow, and build a brighter future-and no two days are ever the same

If you have the right attitude, a passion for supporting young people, and a willingness to learn, we'll help you: Explore government-funded Certificate IV options-so you can study at little to no cost
Gain paid, hands-on experience while you learn.
Receive mentoring and career support to set you up for success.What You'll Do:Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people.Help with personal care, education, social activities, and independent living skills.Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.Offer trauma-informed and positive behavior support when challenges arise.Encourage connections with family, culture, and community.Work closely with a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for young people.What We're Looking For:A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.Availability for rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, weekends & overnights).
Adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills.No prior experience required-just a commitment to learning
What You Need to Get Started:A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
An NDIS Workers Screening CheckA National Police Check (we'll complete this for successful applicants).
A valid open driver's license.A Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child & Family, or Community Services (or willingness to enroll-we can connect you with government-funded training options).
