Regulatory Compliance Officer

We are looking for a talented Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our busy Sydney team. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will use your legal training and experience to manage the digital token listing and review process across the Group. You will also be assisting the Compliance teams in Singapore and Australia as required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Conducting digital token assessments in accordance with internal policy and risk appetite, liaising with external legal counsel as required
- Periodically reviewing the listed tokens on the Singapore and Australian exchanges to ensure on-going compliance with local laws in each jurisdiction.
- Preparing Board and Risk Committee documents
- Assisting the compliance team on strategic projects.

**About you**
- You should hold a diploma or degree in Legal Studies, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years relevant experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably within the Financial Services or Cryptocurrency industries
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve legal and compliance issues promptly. You will be able to self-manager your time and priorities under guidance from your line manager.
- High level of personal integrity and capability of exercising judgement in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.

Other skills that would be ideal but are not essential:

- University-level qualification in financial services or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in banking or financial services with a strong focus on compliance
- Previous experience or involvement in the cryptocurrency industry
