A highly reputable Australian owned Property Developer, Asset Management and Investment Management business. They have a strong presence within industrial logistics property, suburban office and business park space. They are growing significantly as a company and have a strong growth tradjectory.

Your new role

As an Analyst within the Property Development & Funds Management, you will play a critical role in evaluating new property opportunities, including existing assets and new developments (pre-lease deals), while supporting various funds management activities, such as unlisted property syndicates. Working closely with senior staff across the country, you will contribute to the overall success of the business.
- Conduct detailed financial modeling using Excel, including building and modifying bespoke models for land acquisition, development, subdivision, sales/pre-lease transactions, acquisition of existing real property, syndicate and fund models, etc.
- Analyze potential sites and existing assets, assess pre-leasing opportunities, and provide recommendations based on analysis.
- Manage portfolios and provide fund-level reporting.
- Understand the acquisition process, including due diligence activities, report writing, structuring, and financing of transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of information memorandums and data room materials for property transactions.
- Collate, collect, and prepare data for internal and external reports.
- Identify and initiate value-add initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate extensive research at both asset and sector levels.

To be successful you will have:

- Background and experience in development feasibility analysis.
- Familiarity with real estate capital transactions.
- Strong analytical and valuation skills.
- Passion for real estate.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional and flat organisational structure.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in building and reviewing bespoke property development feasibilities.
- Solid property and finance background.
- Higher education at a degree level or above.

Based in Melbourne, with occasional travel required.
