**About the Role**:
Working closely and collaboratively, you will:

- Provide crucial legal support to solicitors, including maintaining case management systems, preparing court documents, and creating comprehensive briefs and depositions.
- Assist with file management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Corrections Victoria, counsel, police, and other government agencies.
- Prepare correspondence and documents to support legal proceedings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and supporting opportunities to enhance divisional processes and participate in new initiatives.

**About you**:
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Proven ability to provide administrative support in a complex, confidential, and sensitive legal environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
- A strong capacity to work effectively as part of a team to maximise efficiency and outcomes.
- A proactive and innovative approach to continuously improve processes and systems.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) is an independent statutory authority responsible for conducting serious criminal prosecutions across Victoria on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). Our team, consisting of over 475 skilled professionals, supports the work of the DPP, the Chief Crown Prosecutor, and Crown Prosecutors. The Salary for this position is VPS Grade 2.1.1 $60,295 per annum plus superannuation
