Motiv8d Minds is looking for Personal/Home Care Support Workers to join its growing NDIS Support Team on the Gold Coast.

Our participants need a range of support workers who can support them in implementing their individual support plans and assist them in completing manageable steps towards achieving their goals and maintaining the personal care and home care needs.

The key objective of the role is to facilitate optimum outcomes for participants and their families by providing non-judgemental, person-centered support that encourages a Participant's leadership and supports their individual pathway through psychosocial recovery.
- An understanding/willingness to learn the Principles of Recovery Orientated Mental Health Practice.
- The ability to work effectively with people with a psychosocial disability who have a range of functional abilities and complex needs.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- The ability to support participants to achieve social and daily life goals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide non-judgemental assistance with persoanl care and home care services.
- Ability to calmly manage complex mental health conditions and behaviours.
- A reliable motor vehicle that is registered and insured
- A smartphone

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Cert III in Mental Health/Community Services/Disability/Individual Support (Minimum)
- First Aid and CPR (Current)
- NDIS New Worker Training Module
- Covid-19 Training Module
- Blue Card (Current)
- NDIS Worker Screening Card/Yellow Card (Current)
- Australian Unrestricted Driver's License (Current)

**Work Experience**:

- Minimum 6 months of experience working within a Mental Health Support role (preferred)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.95 - $30.95 per hour
