**About the role**
The Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of fit for purpose Payroll Systems to support the needs of the People function and MinRes more broadly. This role is responsible for supporting our Payroll solution through requirements gathering, testing and implementation support activities and ongoing system administration, troubleshooting and contributing to ongoing enhancements.
- Contribute to Payroll solutions including updates and enhancements, inputting to requirements gathering, systems testing
- Proactively recommend opportunities for best practice systems optimisation, business efficiencies and work practices
- Document and submit Payroll related change requests, including eliciting requirements to enable accurate configuration
- Perform UAT for Payroll and People system enhancements and support packs
- Contribute to ticket management/review meetings and provide timely status updates on tickets
- Provide Systems Administration support for existing and new Payroll solutions including trouble shooting, knowledge building and training of end users
- Support team members with knowledge building and trouble shooting SAP and Success Factors EC/ECP through solution go live and beyond
- Amend and develop Payroll reports through Spinifex and AdHoc Reporter
- Work with People Data Analyst to deliver ad hoc reporting requests and People Systems Analyst to develop/redefine requirements for new/existing Dashboards in PowerBI
**What you'll bring to the team**
- Tertiary qualification in human resources, or a related discipline (desirable)
- Previous experience using SAP, Spinifex, Success Factors
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem
- solving skills
- The ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
