Currently seeking an experienced Market Area Controller to join the Finance team in West Perth.

Responsible for the assigned Market Area's (MA) management accounting, including monthly reports and estimates, annual plans, adhoc business analysis. This role works closely with the Business Controller to complete given assignments and projects, dealing with analysis, forecasts and business cases for an assigned business area. In addition to this other responsibilities will include;
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Be the main MA Finance contact point to one or more Business Areas
- Developing and maintaining monthly reporting package specific for Market
- Assure alignment of Market Area plan with Business Area guidelines.
- Drive and align the market area P&L planning for Business Area.
- Analysis of site OR, Sales, margin and costs owed by Market Area
- Analyse inventory and obsolescence in Market Area Inventory
- Provide BA with financial updates/comments
- Ongoing development of the business reporting needs with changing global structures, business information needs and pursuit of best practice KPI reporting.
- Development of a suite of reports for the finance, management and sales areas.
- Participate in Market Areas reviews together with Market Area management
- Prepare the templates required for forecasting and compile for the business to review and approve, prior to lodgment of the numbers to business line management.
- Review accounts receivable KPI's and assist with resolving overdue invoices disputes.

Identify areas for improvement and continue to evaluate, develop and document processes
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP sales-function and set-up

Provide support in day-to-day finance questions
- Ensure adherence to Metso Group Financial accounting principles in management accounting
- Supports local trade finance, customer finance and supplier finance

ESSENTIAL
- Relevant university degree (required)
- 3+ years experience in Management Accounting
- Industry specific knowledge is an asset
- Good understanding of macroeconomic views
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with company stakeholders
- Ability to manage work through others and influence without direct authority
- Excellent understanding of SAP system, various reporting systems including HFM and BPC and report writing tools
- Advanced command of MS office tools such as Excel
