**About us**

KSI Sawmill is located in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The Barossa Valley is a renowned wine-producing region northeast of Adelaide, in South Australia. The area encompasses towns such as Nurioopta, Tanunda, and Angaston, and an array of high-profile wineries. We are seeking a trade-qualified maintenance person to join our expanding timber mill.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Trade Certificate, either Engineering - Mechanical / or Engineering - Fabrication / or Maintenance Fitter / Boiler Maker;
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience desirable;
- Work may consist of overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy times;
- Day Shift and Afternoon Shift available;
- Experience within an industrial / manufacturing environment;
- Ability to remain calm under pressure;
- Experience in a proactive workplace and a proactive manner;
- Ability to work autonomously and use your initiative;
- Must be able to strictly follow all safety procedures.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Execute mechanical maintenance activities as directed by the Leadership Team;
- Respond to breakdown activities ensuring the plant is returned to operational status as efficiently as possible;
- Raise detailed work requests for defects, and preventative maintenance plans to promote effective maintenance activities;
- Manage work priorities in consultation with the Leadership Team to ensure safety and production are at the forefront of decision-making activities;
- Monitor and assign resources as required to complete tasks on the Plant and Maintenance Work-In-Progress lists.
