NES Fircroft are looking for
Mechanical Fitters
with
fixed plant maintenance experience
to work alongside our large mining client. We seek skilled candidates interested in a
long-term role
.
Roster:
2/2 (7 days, 7 nights, 14 off)
Hourly rate:
$65 per hour + Super (on all hours)
Contract Length:
6 – 12 months initially, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.
About you:
Fixed plant maintenance experience, ideally in
Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium, Nickel,
and other metals.
Experience with all aspects of fixed plant maintenance, including screens, pumps, valves, conveyors, sizers, scrubbers, crushers, balance machines, and chutes.
Welding experience is a plus but not essential.
Australian recognised trade certificate.
Valid C Class manual license.
Strong employment history.
Your typical duties:
Maintenance and repairs of large-scale mining equipment.
Working with permit, lock-out, and isolation systems and procedures.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure plant reliability and availability.
Maintaining high safety standards and continuous improvement practices.
