Due to the expansion of our new facility and introduction of new technology, we require more Maintenance Mechanical Fitters to cover the existing and new technology that will be required to maintain.

We are seeking an experienced and trade qualified **Maintenance Mechanical Fitter **to join the team at our Grantham Processing Plant. It is desirable that the successful applicant should have experience within the food or meat processing industry however this is not essential. Inhouse training will be provided. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter and possess a good knowledge of workplace health & safety requirements and excellent interpersonal skills. The pay rate ranges from $83 000 to $96 000 plus superannuation depending on your skills and experience which is well above award and industry with very good employment benefits and conditions. We are only looking for the best to join our team.

**Essential requirements for the position**:

- You must be living in Australia to apply
- Trade qualified
- Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain plant & equipment
- Timely diagnosis and repair for resolution of problems
- Extensive experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Competent electric arc welder, tig, oxy acetylene welding and cutting
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Proven commitment to safety
- Have a commercial mindset for minimizing downtime in production
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to work Day and Afternoon Shift on a rotational basis
- Some weekend work may be required
- Ability to work during the Xmas / New Year period each year
