Are you a newly qualified draftsperson looking to enter into their new career?? If so thing job may be for you A large structural steel company in Cranbourne are seeking a recently qualified structural steel drafter who also isnt afraid to get their hands a bit dirty

**About the Role**: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Drafter to join our dynamic team.
This role will involve assisting production with various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. A salary is negotiable upon starting your new job. Hours are from 5am to 1:30pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and modify technical drawings, plans, and specifications for production purpose.
- Using 3D software to modify CAD and Tekla models to suit production needs
- Capable of extraction and working with NC / dxf files
- Organize and manage project production documentation, including shop drawings, specifications, and material orders
- Ensure project deadlines are met
- Utilize Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

**Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of drafting principles and practices
- Basic knowledge of 3D software, such as AutoCAD and Tekla
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive and can-do attitude.
