We are looking for a **Finance Officer** to join our dynamic and growing team

**About the role**:

- Customer service focus
- Set up and maintenance of customer files and ensuring all data is up to date
- Issue invoices
- Process claims in the NDIS portal
- Follow up overdue accounts
- Debt collection
- Investigate and resolve irregularities and/or queries
- Reporting on overdue debtors
- Provide support when required for invoicing facility clients including claiming via NDIS portal
- Processing credit card transactions
- Processing sundry creditors
- Seeking approval for payment of invoices and credit card transactions in line with delegations
- Processing of accounts payable invoices
- Development of accounts receivable and payable systems and processes
- Assist with general financial management, analysis and budget preparation as required

**About You**:

- Have excellent organisation and time management skills
- Highly developed communication skills and able to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
- A high level of motivation and ability to think outside the square
- Able to work autonomously and in a team
- Able to work to tight timelines with high degree of accuracy

**The minimum requirements**:

- Proficient experience with Microsoft suite products (intermediate)
- Xero experience or equivalent
- Current unrestricted Driver's License (essential)
- NDIS Worker Check (or ability to obtain)
- DHS Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated including booster
