In this role, you will be - The Principal Technical Solutions Engineer (PTSE) is the go-to expert for help.
PTSEs work directly with Pegasystems' staff, partners, and customers as they develop, test, deploy, and manage BPM (Business Process Management) and BRE (Business Rules Engine) applications throughout the entire product lifecycle.What You'll Do at Pega :You will contribute your technical expertise and Pegasystems product knowledge to resolve complex technology challenges and help customers meet their business needs.Who You Are :Ready to work in support coverage on a 24x7 rotational basis, including night shifts (4 days working model)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalentAbility to identify, propose, and implement solutions, and work in a flexible, team environmentAptitude for quickly understanding complex technical issues, customer deployments, products, and architectureExcellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with other groups and manage conflictsProven ability to interact directly with customers at all levelsStrong customer-facing skills including expectation management, communication, and information managementEffective oral and written communication skills, maintaining poise under pressureNice to have: Experience with J2EE Application Servers (preferably Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat) and relational databases (preferably Oracle, DB2, UDB)Troubleshooting and debugging experience is a plusWhat You've Accomplished :5+ years of experience in a technical role involving Java, J2EE, and database programming4+ years of experience as a Java, J2EE software developer2+ years as a J2EE server administrator and support for J2EE server software with exposure to database concepts and administrationDemonstrated ability to participate effectively in technical discussionsPega Offers You :Gartner-analyst acclaimed technology leadership across our product categoriesContinuous learning and development opportunitiesAn innovative, inclusive, agile, flexible, and fun work environmentCompetitive global benefits, including pay, bonus incentives, and employee equity#J-18808-Ljbffr
