Costco Ipswich Part Time - Minimum 24 Hours Monday - Sunday WorkJob Duties / Essential FunctionsAssembles platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats, and other items sold in the Service Deli and Rotisserie departments.Prepares meat, poultry, vegetables, and seafood according to Standard Operating Procedures.Skewers and loads chicken into rotisserie ovens.Cooks chicken as per Standard Operating Procedure.Packages, labels, and displays chicken in the hot holding cabinet.Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and vendors.Dismantles equipment, washes, rinses, and sanitizes removable parts and equipment in Deli and Rotisserie rooms.Inspects and reassembles equipment, addressing any corrective actions from the previous night.Reworks display cases, filling, and rotating merchandise.Completes required department paperwork.Cleans and sanitizes work areas throughout the day following sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP).
Follows guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment.Completes and complies with the 11 commandments of Quality Assurance, food safety certification, and department-specific training.Adheres to all safety training requirements for warehouse, service deli, and rotisserie departments.Maintains health code compliance by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.Stocks and rotates supplies in cooler/freezer.Removes rubbish from department and work areas.Operates trash compactor and cardboard baler.Adheres to all department Standard Operating Procedures.Assists with other warehouse departments as necessary.Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and vendors.Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery such as pressure washers, commercial dishwashers, ovens, warming cases, shears, racks, proofing boxes, trash compactors, balers, pallet jacks, blast chillers, air hose cleaners, and step ladders.
