Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you will be providing all trade related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of electronic devices in vehicles, plant and equipment; and diagnose faults, test and repair electronic devices.
Responsibilities
Provide trade-related tasks for maintenance and repair of electronic devices in vehicles, plant and equipment.
Diagnose faults, test and repair electronic devices.
Qualifications
Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain a defence clearance
Recognised Trade Certificate III in electro-technology communications or in a similar electronics discipline
Demonstrated ability to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain electronics equipment such as radios, optical instruments, navigational aids, laser range finding equipment, electro-optical / electro-hydraulic / electro-mechanical systems, radar systems, electronic vehicle control systems and electronic surveillance, and detection systems
Possess demonstrated competencies in the use of computer IT applications.
MILIS, SAP and Microsoft Office Suite are preferred
Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain and repair and calibrate equipment (i.e. gauges, binoculars, compasses)
Demonstrated ability and experience to maintain module level high frequency and very high frequency radio systems in the combat radio fleet to a medium level of repair

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am – 3:45pm, and Friday's, 7am -12pm – early knock off for the weekend
