OverviewAn exceptional opportunity exists to join a respected Queensland legal team specialising exclusively in workplace health and safety law.
This team handles some of the most significant WHS prosecutions, compliance matters, and investigations across both public and private sectors.You will work alongside senior practitioners who have led landmark industrial manslaughter prosecutions and advised on major state-wide compliance projects.
The team is highly collaborative, supportive, and known for a strong mentoring culture and good work-life balance.Key responsibilitiesAdvising on incident response, enforcement notices, and regulatory engagementConducting WHS prosecutions, including indictable offences and reckless conductProviding strategic advice on safety and compliance mattersActing for regulators, government bodies, and select private clientsPreparing for and appearing in coronial inquests and jury trialsAbout youAssociate-level lawyer with a strong focus on WHS and regulatory lawComfortable managing complex files and working under pressureExcellent written and verbal advocacy skillsExperience with prosecutions, inquests, or complex advisory matters is highly regardedThis is an excellent role for someone looking to deepen their expertise in WHS law and take on challenging, impactful matters in a supportive team environment.Why consider this opportunity?
