Interior Jungle is an indoor plant nursery based in Moorabbin. We are looking for a fit, enthusiastic nursery retail superstar to join our team, who can also assist delivering plants and planters across metro Melbourne.

The required hours for this role are from Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm. The total working hours are 31.5. With penalty rates on weekends applied, the total wage is equivalent to approximately 38 hours.

The successful applicants will have a reasonable knowledge of indoor plants and preferably have spent time within the horticulture industry.

Delivery will be approximately 1-2 days. We will supply a commercial van and cover all car expenses.

**Job description**

You must be able to work efficiently while unsupervised and be reliable and punctual. Your main tasks will include:

- Serving customers by providing indoor plant advice and styling advice
- Quality control, presentation and restocking for plants and planters
- Relocating, watering and fertilising plants, plant maintenance and disease and pest control
- Point of sale transactions
- Fulfill online orders for in store pickup, shipping and delivery
- Cleaning and tidying retail and storage space
- Other day-to-day retail operations and nursery duties

**Requirement**
- Previous retail nursery experience is an advantage.
- Competent using iOS devices and basic software.
- Physically fit.
- Horticultural qualifications are desirable
- Must have full Australian Driver's License
- Be fit to lift and carry plants and planters from your car to delivery destinations

Competitive remuneration will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
