Guidewire Developer

Position Summary:· The candidate is required to have good Guidewire Claim Center product experience.
The candidate should also understand all the insurance claims processes and the peripheral integrating systems that integrate with core Guidewire Claim Center application.
The Candidate should be able to deliver the projects based on the business needs in a short time.
The candidate should have good work experience following behavioral-driven development (BDD), understand the requirement that follows Specification by Example technique, uplifting the code with unit test coverages up to 100%, performance tuning the code, dev-ops pipelines.
The candidate should be willing to adopt and learn any new technologies fast along with the project delivery.The candidate should have Guidewire Claim Center knowledge and its core functionalities on Reserves, Claim Transactions, Payments and financial modules.
The candidate should be able to work in Agile environment and should drive the meetings, workshops and elaborate requirement.Mandatory Skills:· 8+ years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter product, NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS, GraphQL, Restful services.
· Experience working on Java, Gosu code, business validation rules, business workflows and all other configuration and integration elements· Scaled Agile and Agile methodologies, behavioral-driven development (BDD), engineering best practices like automated unit test coverages up to 100%, DevOps pipelines· Quality check other developers code to stop any performance issues in the code base· Participate and discuss on various design solutions options with business stakeholders, discovery workshops, estimation and solutioning· Establish the integration best practices, development guidelines· Reviews the high-level and low-level design documents· Drive the technical solutioning meetings with Tech Leads· Analyses technical interdependencies between various technical work streams, captures and help resolve the issues· Performance tuning of the code· Mentor and help other technical developers in the team· Drives the business and technical demo sessionsDuties and Responsibilities:· Development of code as per the requirement and engineering practices, unit test and provide support to all testing phases.
· Work with Guidewire Out of the box core functionalities and features in latest versions to compare and provide better solution.
· Drive technical workshops during project discovery phase and provide high level solutions and estimates· Analyse and provide pros and cons for various solutions options to business stakeholders· Supports business analysts to set business processes· Review peer team members code against the defined guidelines, standards and best practices and provide approval· Performance tuning of the code· Participate in all agile ceremonies and quarterly planning meetings· Guides the delivery team during development· Create implementation plan and help perform production validation testQualifications & Certifications (Optional):· Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science· 8+ years of experience in Guidewire Claim Center and at least should have a Guidewire professional certification.Insurance industry knowledge with work experience in Claim Processes and financial modules.Salary Range: >$100,000Date of Posting: 28/August/2025Next Steps: If you feel this opportunity suits you, or Cognizant is the type of organization you would like to join, we want to have a conversation with you
