Do you have a passion for driving agile delivery? We're looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to work across our Product and Engineering teams and coordinate the delivery of initiatives in collaboration with teams across the business.

**Key metrics (quantified success criteria)**
- **Delivering sprint goals based on good predictability**: the sprint goals are used for delivery and predictability, and setting a constant pace helps to predict future sprint outcomes. A predictable team is a powerful team.
- **Reducing churn in sprints**: change to user stories is sometimes necessary but the goal should be to reduce churn during sprints in order to allow accurate estimation and avoid derailing progress.

**Specific role responsibilities**:
**_ Improve processes by utilising metrics and benchmarking_**_:_
- Coach and share experiences to enable teams to deliver better end-to-end outcomes using best practices and become self-organising.
- Design, establish and manage effective delivery processes that help teams deliver successfully.
- Use metrics effectively to motivate teams to continuously increase their performance.

**_Be the Agile champion_**_:_
- Facilitate a collaborative environment amongst cross-disciplinary teams to deliver value using Agile principles and methodologies.
- Be the Scrum Master, facilitate the various Scrum rituals for Platform Development (Daily Stand-Up, Product Grooming, Sprint Demo, Sprint Retro and Sprint Planning). Be a servant leader that helps to clear impediments for the team.
- Coach our Agile processes by encouraging the team to swarm on the most important story, to limit work in progress, to pair and work collaboratively as a team and become more cross-functional.

**_Enable the team to deliver on requirements_**_:_
- Project Manage and facilitate the various Agile processes for the Client Implementations team. Coordinate the work schedule and report on progress. Act as a hub to ensure communication is occurring. Manage iterations, scope, priorities, schedule, risks and issues.
- Enable timely delivery by helping the team to prioritise and focus on what's most important and remove distractions. Ask the right questions to help the development team avoid going down unnecessary rabbit holes. The delivery lead helps the product management team prune the scope.
- Deliver the right thing by understanding the success criteria and providing an oversight function to ensure that what it is that is actually being delivered is actually on-point for the success criteria.
- Ensure teams understand their roles and responsibilities to enable them to succeed in achieving their goals and promote team happiness.
- Understand and clearly articulate complex information and requirements from stakeholders in an easy-to-digest manner for the team. Act as a safeguard for the team from external interference and over-commitment.

**Required experience, skills & qualifications**:

- 4-5+ years' experience in a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead role
- Practical knowledge of agile software delivery methodologies - managing project backlogs, prioritising requests, writing user stories, sprint planning, iterations, retrospectives and stand-ups.
- Exceptional communication skills: listening and understanding; verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively persuade, motivate, negotiate, resolve conflicts and influence at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.
- Developed understanding of web technologies and complex systems.
- Current Australian working rights

**Experience in the following areas is a plus**:

- Technical experience in software development projects as a developer, business analyst or similar.
- Atlassian product suite: Confluence/Jira.
