**Male Disability Support Worker - Down Syndrome Focus**

**Location**:Frankston, VIC + Surrounding Suburbs

**The Role**
We're seeking a Male Support Worker to assist participants with Down Syndrome and mild to moderate intellectual disabilities in their daily living, personal care, and community engagement.

**Key Duties**
- Provide 1:1 support tailored to participants with Down Syndrome
- Support with personal care, hygiene, and dressing
- Assist with daily routines, meal prep, and transport
- Encourage communication, independence, and participation
- Support community activities and appointments
- Accurately document notes and incidents in line with NDIS practice standards
- Maintain privacy, dignity, and client choice

**You Bring**
- Kind, calm, and patient approach
- Cultural awareness and respectful communication
- Physically fit for hands-on assistance and mobility support
- Comfortable supporting participants with communication delays, sensory needs, or routine-based behaviours

**Requirements**:

- Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, or Individual Support
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- WWCC (Employee)
- Valid driver's licence + reliable car
- 6+ months experience with Down Syndrome or intellectual disability support

**Bonus Points For**
- Experience with social skill development or visual communication (PECS, visuals, etc.)
- Manual handling and behaviour support training
