ABOUT THE ROLE:
Location: Melbourne Eastern Suburbs
Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
Availability: 24/7
Pay rate at Level 2
Armed Guard endorsement required on security license
Current Category H Handgun License required
Experience is not necessary
Wilson Security is expanding in VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our regional presence.
This growth has created new roles focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our teams and clients.
These positions are vital to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers.
They offer opportunities to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergencies, with training across multiple locations and roles.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting with emergency situations via CCTV until resources are deployed
Managing access control, alarm, and fire monitoring to ensure site compliance
Communicating with emergency services and police when required
Maintaining security and visitor logbooks, weapons register, and lost/found register
Writing daily activity reports in the reporting system
Using MS computer systems proficiently
Utilizing security software such as Gallagher, Genetec, and Tecom (highly regarded)
Providing excellent customer service
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Australian citizens or individuals with full working rights
Armed Guard endorsement on security license
Current Category H Handgun License
Valid driver's license and own transport
First Aid and CPR certification
Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, 24/7
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Successful police and background checks
