**The Opportunity**:
As the Risk & Resilience Stream Lead, working a in 12-month max term contract role on our 3R, this role will require you to lead the stream completing our resilience strategy and ecosystem risk reviews.

In order to be successful in this role you will have a strong background in resilience management, risk assessment, and business continuity, with a proven track record in enhancing organizational resilience and managing complex risk scenarios.

The role plays a critical part in enhancing trust in AP+ and supporting its ambition to lead secure, inclusive, and innovative payments experiences for all in Australia.

**The core responsibilities of the role will include**:
**Resilience Strategy Development and Business Impact Assessments**:

- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive resilience strategies that align with our objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Design and execute resilience plans and programs to ensure we can effectively respond to and recover from potential disruptions.
- Perform business impact analysis to determine critical functions, processes, and resources essential for maintaining operations during and after a disruption.

**Business Continuity Planning**:

- Oversee the development, testing, and maintenance of business continuity plans and procedures to ensure they are effective and up to date.
- Coordinate and conduct regular business continuity exercises, simulations, and drills to test the preparedness and response capabilities.
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement in business continuity plans and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee the uplift of the Crisis Management Plan for AP+, ensuring the plan is up to date, tested and reviewed on a regular basis.

**Risk Assessments**:

- Oversee the development, implementation and ongoing assessment of risk assessments for providers across AP+.
- Coordinate and conduct risk assessments over the ecosystem.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Monitor industry trends and advancements in resilience management to identify opportunities for enhancing our practices.

**The capabilities we're seeking are**:

- 8+ years' experience in resilience management, business continuity, or risk management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role across either a Payments, FinTech or Financial Services environment.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing resilience strategies, business continuity plans, and incident response protocols.
- Strong knowledge of best practice resilience processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
