**Clinic Hours**: 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM

**The Role**

We are looking for a practice manager to join our team If you're an experienced dental assistant/receptionist looking to step up or you're a Practice Manager looking for a new opportunity, then this is the perfect role for you

My Local Dentists Leichhardt is a part of a group of privately owned modern, family-oriented dental clinics (My Local Dentists) across Sydney. Our mission is for our staff to enjoy coming to work and for our patients to enjoy coming to the dentist Exceptional patient care and service are our top priorities. We are seeking a like-minded team player to join our team and contribute to our mission to be the local dentist that everyone trusts and knows in the community.

**Duties**:

- Orchestrate and oversee the daily operations of the clinic - front desk, sterilisation, surgery, clinic admin
- Ensure efficient and effective service delivery to both dentists and patients
- Lead, manage and support team members, including dental receptionists and dental assistants to achieve their roles and responsibilities
- Organise staffing roster
- Organise and manage financial tasks - front desk payments, payment plans, supplier and lab invoices and payments
- Organise maintenance of clinic equipment and machines
- Manage inventory and ensure the timely ordering of supplies and materials
- Handle clinic and patient administration
- Provide occasional support in sterilisation or surgery when required
- Report to and handle tasks/projects assigned by the management team

**To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need**:

- Leadership skills to manage and build the staff team to trust and support each other
- Strong people skills - have a genuine interest in patients, dentists and staff
- Previous experience as a dental assistant or receptionist is important
- Ability to handle patient inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Proficient in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Be willing to give feedback and be open-minded to receive feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges as they arise
- Openness to further education and training to enhance your skills
- Basic proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge of dental regulations and compliance requirements
- Ensure the clinic adheres to health and safety regulations

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 38 per week
