We are currently recruiting for the position of General Mill Worker (Rigger/Scaffolder/Mobile Plant Operator) in the Burdekin Region at Inkerman Mill. This is a permanent position and the successful applicant will be required to perform a full range of duties. Job level will depend on current qualifications and skills required to complete the position.

You will work as part of the maintenance team and perform duties as directed by the Work Coordinator and/or Work Execution Superintendent.

**Your Role in Action**

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Operation of mobile plant Crane/Forklift
- High level of theoretical and practical knowledge of the process and mechanical aspects of tools and equipment
- A commitment to our safe operation and safe maintenance initiatives
- Ensure rigging equipment is checked, maintained and tested, any faulty equipment reported immediately
- Ensure permits to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis are conducted for all work undertaken
- Perform plant maintenance and/or assist day work/shift trades and production operators as required
- Strong communication and organisational skills in a team environment
- Have an excellent understanding of the WH&S regulations

**Essential Criteria**:

- Current manual drivers licence
- A willingness and ability to acquire new skills and or qualifications as required to perform the duties of this position.

- Overhead Crane Ticket
- HR Licence
- Forklift HRW Licence
- Mobile Crane HRW Licence
- Rigging HRW Licence - Basic/Intermediate
- Scaffold HRW Licence - basic/Intermediate
- Dogger HRW Licence
- Common User Competencies skills ie Welding/Fitting Skills
