As Planning manager at PACT's Laverton site, you will control the production planning and workload/capacity to meet customer demand, within set lead times for our household and Industrial packaging on site.Working closely with the Production, Quality, Sales and technical teams to manage accurate forecasting as well as ensuring production orders meet customer, sales and planning delivery deadlines will form a large part of your remit.
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products across various lines
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine and secure team resources, equipment and raw materials required to cover production demand
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, stock replenishment and continuously monitor inventory levels
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Develop production and preventative maintenance schedules, raw materials (resin etc) requirements, systems infrastructure, and stock levels in accordance with the Site operational budgets and parameters
- Manage production plans to ensure resources and processes are utilised in a way that optimises inventory, machinery, labour and facilitates the achievement of sales plans and production targets
- Investigate and improve processes, productivity, quality, cost control and customer service where possible.
- Identify opportunities and act to build strategic relationships with all business areas/divisions, customers, suppliers, and contractors that are established, maintained, and improved to help achieve business goals

- Working background in manufacturing environment, which embraces operational excellence
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong & effective communication skills to work effectively with operations team.
- Proven background in continuous Improvement and change management experience
- Be outcomes focused with the ability to balance production, safety, and resources
