Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant Product Owner, to join the Personal Everyday Banking (PEB) team in Personal Banking.

**About the role**

This Product Owner role represents the voice of the customer, supports the vision and roadmap for a defined experience, works with the Head of / Product Owners to define & prioritise the backlog and ensures the team invest time and resources in initiatives that will provide the greatest benefits to our customers and shareholders.

Specifically, this role will own and manage our Instalments Sub-domain backlog, prioritise and support delivery of product and service roadmaps and ensure our platforms remain stable. The specific focus of the role may shift across these aspects depending on the team's delivery priorities.

The role will deliver exceptional customer experience and business value in these areas by undertaking customer & market research, developing deep and broad understanding of the payments and instalments landscape, problem solving, backlog development, overseeing delivery, completing benefit calculation, target setting & reporting, investment planning, as well as and helping to guide our strategic direction and multi-year roadmap.

**Key responsibilities are to**:

- Lead the identification and prioritisation of desired customer experience that delivers to customer & business outcomes
- Create and manage initiative backlogs ensuring backlog initiatives have a strong business case to match the customer and do-ability lenses (That is initiatives are desirable, viable and feasible)
- Lead a cross - functional squad to deliver priority initiatives

**What you will bring**

You are tertiary qualified preferably in business, IT or engineering and have:

- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to use a variety of imperfect information to drive business recommendations
- Strong delivery experience with proven ability to deliver commercial outcomes
- Ability to incorporate strategic frameworks and strategic planning in your day to day activities
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to support leadership to lead teams within Everyday Banking
- Proven experience in costing; benefits calculation, deployment planning and sequencing, and exposure to complex customer and financial data skills.
- Previous experience delivering digital products and services
- Previous experience as a Product Owner using agile methodologies will be highly regarded.

Your strong influencing and collaboration skills, coupled with your ability to put the customer at the centre of all initiatives, will ensure your success in this role.
