About The Role
We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable Event Cleaners to join our team for the Royal Adelaide Show 2025.
Flexibility to work day or afternoon shifts across 9 days of the Show (Saturday 30th August – Sunday 7th September) is required.
Shifts may include mornings (5am-11am), daytime (9am-3pm), afternoons (12pm-6pm), evenings (6pm-12am), or overnights (10pm-4am).
Opportunities for long-term employment may be available post-show in our Events & Commercial divisions for suitable candidates.
If you're proactive, hardworking, and ready to get your hands dirty, this role is ideal for you.
Rates
Normal (6:00am - 6:00pm): $31.21/hour + superannuation
Afternoon (6:00pm - 6:00am): $34.96/hour + superannuation
Saturday: $43.70/hour + superannuation
Sunday: $56.18/hour + superannuation
Duties & Responsibilities
Picking rubbish from the grounds
Cleaning toilet facilities (internal and portable)
Wiping tables
Emptying and moving bins
Vacuuming and mopping floors
Window cleaning
Performing any additional tasks as requested by the supervisor
Mandatory Requirements
Previous experience in labouring or cleaning roles
Current (within 12 months) National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
Current Working With Children Check for South Australia or ability to obtain one
Availability to work all 9 days of the Show
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Enthusiastic attitude and proactive approach
Physical strength for labour-intensive tasks
Excellent communication skills
High standards of cleanliness, attention to detail
Smartphone to clock in and out of shifts
