Event Cleaning Opportunity

We are seeking an Event Cleaner to join our team for the Royal Adelaide Show 2025. The successful candidate will have flexibility to work day or afternoon shifts across 9 days of the Show, including mornings, daytime, afternoon, evenings, and overnights.


The role involves cleaning toilets, picking rubbish from the grounds, wiping tables, emptying and moving bins, vacuuming and mopping floors, and window cleaning. Additional tasks may be requested by supervisors.


Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning toilet facilities (internal and portable)
  • Picking up rubbish from the grounds
  • Emptying and moving bins
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Window cleaning

Pay Rates:
  • Normal: $31.21 per hour + superannuation
  • Afternoon/Evening: $34.96 per hour + superannuation
  • Saturday: $43.70 per hour + superannuation
  • Sunday: $56.18 per hour + superannuation

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a hands-on laboring or cleaning position
  • A current National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
  • A Working With Children Check for South Australia, or ability to obtain one
  • Availability to work across all 9 days of the Show
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical strength due to the labor intensity of the role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High standard of work, cleanliness, and attention to detail

This is a temporary event cleaning opportunity that requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As an Event Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the event area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors.
