OverviewWe have a current opportunity for Senior Cloud Project Officers, on a contract basis within the Defence sector.
These roles are hybrid based in Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane.
The contract is for an initial 12 month period, with a 2 x12 month extension option.Skill Set - APS6 - Project ManagementBase pay rangeA$75.00/hr - A$120.00/hrDirect message the job poster from HTR GroupResponsibilitieshandle a variety of other project delivery work tasks including being able to adapt and respond to promptly changing and competing priorities at short notice.resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative course of action.high-quality secretariat services for multi-agency governance forums including organising meetings and room bookings, preparing and submitting agendas, minutes and briefing papers, and following up on the status of actions arising from these meetings to support project/team.effective executive brief writing, program reporting and written stakeholder communications.contribute to the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures.establish and maintain project management artefacts in accordance with the endorsed project management methods and ensure their continued suitability to define, control and manage all work associated with a project, eg progress reports, risk and issue reports.Objective administration and records management including providing advice and implementation of accesses, structure and the records management processes within the project.work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders within established working groups, and actively participate in team work and group activities.facilitation of work package planning and execution, to assist the project team with planning improvement and reduce the risk of scope creep.hosting of regular daily stand-ups to track team progress, and note any obstacles that have the potential to keep the team from completing tasks.Minimum mandatory requirementsAGSVA Security clearance.Professional certification or training in Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile SCM).
Experience working in a NIC agency in a project role on a large program or project.Demonstrated experience working with an agile project methodology as a Project Officer.Demonstrated experience supporting program or project control boards or project meetings (i.e. minutes, agendas, action items, tracking progress, reporting).
