**We're Hiring: Skilled Section WaiterGrandfathers - Modern Chinese | Sydney CBD**

Grandfathers is a new modern Chinese restaurant opening in Winter 2025 in the heart of Sydney's CBD. With a focus on bold regional flavours, refined technique, and elevated service, Grandfathers aims to deliver one of the city's most exciting and memorable dining experiences.

We're looking for an experienced and confident Section Waiter to join our opening team. This role is ideal for someone who's polished on the floor, takes pride in their service, and understands the rhythm of premium, guest-focused dining.

**What You'll Do**:

- Run your own section with confidence, precision, and genuine care.
- Guide guests through the food menu with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Work in sync with the sommelier team to support wine service and enhance the guest experience.
- Deliver food and beverage with excellent timing, attention to detail, and consistency.
- Anticipate guest needs, read the room, and adjust accordingly.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, and floor team to maintain smooth service.
- Contribute to a respectful, fast-paced team environment focused on quality

**About You**:

- 1+ years in a premium or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food, with a keen interest in wine and pairing.
- Comfortable liaising with sommeliers and confident around wine service.
- Calm, composed, and thoughtful under pressure.
- Clear communicator with great team awareness and guest instinct.
- Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive maner.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed is preferable but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.23 - $40.00 per hour
