This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and well-integrated across systems in line with compliance requirements.In this role you will lead a small team, manage resources and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with a strong emphasis on enabling the business through reliable, timely, and usable data.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of data and integration solutionsDesign and develop CI/CD pipelines for data managementEnsure data quality, governance, and compliance with relevant legislationDeliver integration architecture and support analytics and visualisation platforms (e.g. Azure, Power BI and ESRI GIS)Act as a trusted advisor for data-driven initiativesPromote data reuse and modern data practices across the organisationCollaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutionsContribute to enterprise data strategy and continuous improvement initiativesManage and mentor a teamThe ExpertiseYou are an experienced data and integration professional with a strong technical foundation and a practical, delivery-oriented mindset.
You enjoy working closely with the business to solve problems and improve data outcomes, and you are comfortable leading a team and managing competing priorities.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldCertifications such as Azure Data Engineer, TOGAF, ITIL, Agile, PMPMinimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, analytics or a related fieldDemonstrated leadership experience managing technical teamsExtensive experience with data visualisation tools, particularly Power BIExperience in managing master data and data governance frameworksPrevious experience in a governance role (and/or in conducting compliance audits and risk assessmentshttps://?
