Aequalis Disability Services provides a rewarding experience to mentor and support participants of the NDIS.
Prior to commencing shift-work, all Aequalis workers will have access to an intimate half-day induction, which provides a thorough insight into the company & services, your team, and the industry.

Aequalis prides itself on putting a focus on relationships. When workers come on board, we want to get to know your interests and skills so that we can match up your personality with appropriate participants that you will enjoy supporting.

Aequalis Support Workers have access to a dynamic team environment, which includes shadow shifts and mentoring for new workers, as well as co-ordinators who are on call 24 hours per day to answer questions during shifts.

Working with Aequalis will allow you to help participants of the NDIS reach goals and engage pro-socially within their community. Learn closely from co-ordinators while providing the following supports:
Innovative Community Participation: assist participants engage in their community.

Supervised Transport: transport participants to community activities, appointments and daily errands.

In-Home Respite: provide support for a participant and their family in their own home.

Mental Health/wellbeing Guidance: support participants to overcome anxiety, depression or stress.

**Applicants must possess**:
A current employee Working With Children Check (WWCC)

A current National Police Check (NPC)

A current drivers license, (P1 & P2 accepted) and a fully comprehensively insured vehicle for transporting participants/young people

A relevant industry qualification (minimum Cert IV)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.76 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- NSW Drivers Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
