What's the role?
As a Personal Banker with Westpac, you will proactively engage with customers in person and over the phone to uncover their financial needs, utilizing your expert product knowledge to assist them in achieving their financial goals.
You will refer customers to our specialist banking teams such as Home Loans and Business Banking, as well as coach customers on our digital banking offerings.
This rewarding role blends sales and customer service and holds accountability for sales and referral targets – all with an uncompromising commitment to empowering our customers to make the most of their money
This is a full-time, branch-based role from Monday to Friday.
What do I need?
Banking experience is ideal, but not essential – your high-performer energy and ability to build strong customer relationships will be key to your success
Strong experience in a customer-facing or phone-based sales role
Resilience, tenacity, and adaptability – no two days or customers are ever the same
Proven experience in achieving performance KPIs with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Comfortable working with numbers and navigating multiple systems
No banking experience?
