**Skills & experience**

You will be an
**Australian qualified**
**Finance Lawyer** who would like to pivot to Asset/Aviation Finance (utilising your secured finance, equipment leasing and/or capital markets experience)
**at the 5-8 year level.**

While this role sits in the New York office (where you will be assisted to
***sit your
**New York Bar exams), **you could also undertake this role in
**Washington, DC or Houston, Texas.**

**Your new Associate role**

Your global Asset Finance team is consistently ranked Band 1 by Chambers and Tier 1 by Legal 500. You will work with
**three (3) partners** including the Head of Banking & Finance, Head of Aviation Finance and Head of Diversity Committee and eight Associates, who are both home-grown and lateral (equally valued).

Your
**practice will focus primarily on aircraft finance** including capital markets issuances, portfolio securitizations, acquisitions and sales, private placements, secured, unsecured and asset based lending and restructurings, and leasing (finance and leveraged). Represent lenders, underwriters, operating lessors, manufacturers and export credit agencies.
